Our products and services may include amber-inspired and other fragrance oils, body mists, perfume-style fragrances, custom fragrance blends, and diffuser products. These formulations may contain natural and synthetic aromatic ingredients, essential oils, carrier oils, and perfumer’s alcohol sourced from established suppliers and manufacturers. We strive to select ingredients appropriate for their intended applications and consistent with applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Although cosmetic fragrance products are regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), such regulation does not constitute FDA approval or endorsement of individual ingredients or finished fragrance products.

ALLERGY WARNING & INDIVIDUAL SENSITIVITIES: Customers and event guests acknowledge that fragrance products, including those manufactured with ingredients suitable for cosmetic use, may cause allergic reactions, skin irritation, respiratory sensitivities, headaches, or other adverse reactions. Individual responses may vary depending on personal sensitivities, existing allergies, skin conditions, and environmental factors. Clouds of Sillage does not guarantee that any fragrance product is allergen-free, hypoallergenic, or suitable for every individual. Guests with known fragrance sensitivities, allergies, respiratory conditions, or concerns regarding product ingredients are strongly encouraged to refrain from participation or seek appropriate medical advice before use.

PATCH TESTING & INFORMED PARTICIPATION: Customers and guests are strongly encouraged to review available ingredient information, follow all product warnings, and conduct an appropriate preliminary skin-compatibility test before regular application of fragrances specifically intended for skin use. A patch test does not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur, and a brief test performed during an event cannot reliably rule out delayed reactions. Customers or guests who voluntarily decline recommended testing and proceed with product application acknowledge the disclosed risks associated with that decision. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Clouds of Sillage shall not be responsible for harm caused solely by a participant’s failure to follow clearly communicated safety instructions or warnings.

PROPER PRODUCT USE & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: All products must be used strictly according to their designated purpose, labeling, and instructions. Fragrance oils intended exclusively for diffusers or home fragrance applications must never be applied directly to the skin unless expressly formulated and labeled for that use. Products must not be ingested, applied to broken or irritated skin, or allowed to contact the eyes or mucous membranes. Alcohol-based fragrances may be flammable and must be kept away from heat, sparks, open flames, and ignition sources. Customers and guests must not improperly mix, alter, dilute, or otherwise modify products without appropriate instructions. All fragrance products should be stored securely and kept out of reach of children and pets.

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Participation in any Clouds of Sillage fragrance experience, including product sampling, custom fragrance blending, and personal fragrance application, is entirely voluntary. Customers and event guests are responsible for reviewing available product information, communicating relevant concerns, following safety instructions, and making informed decisions regarding product use. Any individual who chooses to participate despite known sensitivities, declines recommended precautions, or knowingly disregards clearly displayed safety warnings acknowledges the potential risks of those decisions. Guests may decline participation at any time.

EVENT HOST & GUEST NOTIFICATION: Clients booking Clouds of Sillage for private events, corporate functions, pop-ups, celebrations, or other fragrance experiences acknowledge that fragrance products may be offered to attending guests. Event hosts are responsible for communicating the nature of the fragrance experience to invitees, making reasonable efforts to notify guests of potential fragrance exposure, and allowing individuals with allergies or sensitivities to decline participation. Hosts must not represent any product as universally safe, allergen-free, or medically approved. Event hosts acknowledge that accepting these terms does not automatically constitute acceptance by individual guests. Clouds of Sillage may require separate guest safety acknowledgments or consent forms where appropriate.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable federal and state laws, Clouds of Sillage, including its owners, employees, representatives, and authorized personnel, shall not be held liable for injuries, allergic reactions, damages, or losses to the extent directly caused by customer or guest misuse of products, unauthorized alterations, improper storage, failure to follow clearly communicated instructions, or knowing disregard of applicable safety warnings. Customers and guests acknowledge that fragrance use carries inherent risks of individual sensitivity and that participation is voluntary. This provision does not release Clouds of Sillage from liability for defective products, legally actionable negligence, inadequate safety warnings, or other responsibilities that cannot lawfully be waived.

PRODUCT QUALITY, DEFECTS & CUSTOMER RESOLUTION: Clouds of Sillage is committed to maintaining reasonable product quality and safety standards. Customers who believe a product is defective, damaged, contaminated, or otherwise unsafe should discontinue use immediately and contact our company with relevant purchase information and a description of the concern. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate reported product concerns and, when appropriate, offer a replacement, comparable alternative, or refund. Such remedies do not limit consumer rights or other remedies available under applicable law.

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE: By purchasing, sampling, or voluntarily participating in a Clouds of Sillage fragrance experience after being provided access to this notice, customers and guests acknowledge that fragrance products may present individual allergy and sensitivity risks, that safety precautions and appropriate testing have been recommended, and that all products must be used according to their intended purposes and provided instructions. Participation following notice of these risks constitutes acknowledgment of the information presented but does not, by itself, establish an enforceable waiver of legal claims. Where required or appropriate, separate written or electronic consent may be obtained.

Clouds of Sillage reserves the right to decline or discontinue product application or participation when safety concerns arise, product instructions are disregarded, or a participant appears to be experiencing an adverse reaction.
